It is the first beach to be found on leaving Maó heading north. Before arriving, we drive through a charming little hamlet of summer white houses and a fishermen’s refuge. The Pa Gros emerges from the fine sands; a hill of about sixty metres high, where we can have marvellous views of the coast. On the other end of the beach we can observe the outstanding presence of a spectacular defence tower built by the British in the 18th century.

This beach is historically important as French troops disembarked on its shores with the aim of taking over the island.
