Cala Mitjana and Mitjaneta

Mitjana and Mitjaneta are, thanks to its characteristics, a clear example of the beauty of the island’s south coast coves. Here on these beaches we can feel the soft stroke of its fine white sands, wrapped up in pines and surrounded by lime stone cliffs. These coves still preserve their virgin condition.

It also offers us the chance to visit an old marés quarry on the surroundings.

To access these coves we should take the road towards Cala Galdana until nearly arriving at the residential area. On the way from the car park to the shore we can observe ancient lime ovens, stone huts for the refuge of cattle, coal stores and other aspects of the Minorcan country life.
