Poblat de Trepucó

This talayotic settlement has an extension of about 5000 square metres and was once surrounded by a wall. There are two talayots within the premises; the first is the most spectacular due to its size; it shows a circular basis similar to a star in the middle of the fortress.

The other talayot is smaller in size but the same as beautiful and is fixed to the wall to the northeast of the settlement.

There is a worshipping centre to the south, with the biggest “taula” of the island as well as five talayotic houses each different in style.

This settlement can be reached from the Via Ronda in Maó and leaving the via where the grave yard is. After a hundred metres, we take the track to the left towards Trepucó. At the crossroads we turn right until we reach the car park. From here, a two minute walk will take us to the place.
