S’ANTIGA

S'Antiga, in Menorcan, means “The Old One.” This is how our hotel is known in Es Mercadal, where, some time ago, the first girls' school in the village was located, the old school. It was also the home of Pepe de Cas Sucrer, a beloved person in Es Mercadal, and you’ll find more than one reference to him while walking through its streets. Now, the story of S'Antiga continues in the form of a hotel, with 10 rooms, a patio, a pool, and service areas.

It is located in a very central building with details that make it stand out among the houses surrounding it. From the balcony on the façade to the interior walls made of local stone, the uniqueness of S'Antiga won us over with its history, deeply connected to the life of the town.
It is also located in Es Mercadal, midway between Maó and Ciutadella. An ideal spot to explore Menorca during the day and enjoy its life at sunset.

THAT BEING IN THIS HOUSE FEELS LIKE BEING AT HOME:
At S'Antiga, we have 10 rooms spread across the ground floor, first, and second floors, accessible by a gentle Mediterranean-style staircase. We want you to feel at home here, which is why we’ve equipped them with full bathrooms (some with bathtubs), desks, individually controlled air conditioning, Smart TVs with internet access... The views—toward the patio or the historic center—will depend on the room type you choose. But we assure you that all will be equally unforgettable. Visit the Rooms section to learn more in depth.
Also, you can arrive at the hotel at any time. Rooms are available from 2:00 PM. If you arrive earlier, we will store your luggage. And if your room is available, we’ll be happy to check you in. On the day of departure, we need your room by 11:00 AM. If you’re leaving later, we will again store your luggage until you’re ready to go. Depending on availability, you can stay in your room for an additional fee if you wish.
