Diocesan Museum
The Diocesan Museum of Minorca is situated in the old Augustine convent. This is an architectural complex dated from the 17th century, where we can admire the beauty of the cloister and the Socors Church, both integrated in the museum’s circuit. Its chambers exhibit an interesting archaeological collection with pieces from the talayotic culture and classical colonisations, a painting section from the 17th and 18th centuries, a sample of works by the painter Pere Daura and a group of liturgical items as well as the precious religious pieces of gold and silver work from the 17th to the 20th century.
