Cala Macarella and Macarelleta

These well known southern coast coves are, thanks to their natural characteristics, the most highly appreciated by the beach visitors of the island. The Macarella beach opens up at the end to a gorge surrounded by thick pine wood. Macarelleta is a cove next door, slightly smaller but as beautiful as the one mentioned.

Its transparent waters toned turquoise are unforgettable. We can admire the cliffs on the surroundings and dazzled by the presence of prehistoric caves.

It is, undoubtedly, a paradise for Nature lovers.
