Cala en Turqueta
This beach is a real natural treasure. Its name clearly refers to the turquoise colour of its crytal waters. It is, without any doubt, one of the most beautiful virgin beaches of the island. Its sands are fine with white tones and sometimes appear covered with posidonia, a sea weed which tells us about the good state of beach preservation. On the surroundings we can visit the Talaya d’Artrutx; a watchtower enjoying a majestic view over the coastline.
This beach is quite crowded due to the fact of its easy access by car as the car park is a few metres away from the coast. We can get to this turquoise paradise by parting from the centre of Ciutadella heading towards the country road of Sant Joan de Missa.
